How to Be Sure Your Twitter Handle Gets Mentioned When People Hit Your WordPress’s Twitter Share

So you wrote a great article on your WordPress and you hope people will share on their Twitter using the buttons like these:

Wouldn’t you like to know who did the sharing?

If you don’t set certain features it will just tweet @wordpressdotcom. Have you ever noticed that? That makes it hard to acknowledge the person that took an interest in your article.

Well, you can make it say @yourname by following these directions.

Open your Twitter you prefer. Then go to your WordPress Dashboard. Scroll down to >> Settings >> Share.

Then you will be taken to this:

And all you need to do is select is Add New Twitter Account and authorize the connection. Done.

If your Facebook is open you can immediately authorize it too while you are there.
